Quality of Life Health Services, Inc., Hosts Seventh Annual Pastor’s
Appreciation Luncheon
Wayne C. Rowe, C.E.O., and the Quality of Life Health Services,
Inc., Board of Directors held the Seventh Annual Pastor’s
Appreciation Luncheon on Wednesday, March 10, 2009 at the Wayne C.
Rowe Auditorium. Quality of Life holds this event to show
appreciation for all that the ministers in the Gadsden area do to
assist with the spiritual needs of our community.
The theme for the luncheon was “Planting the Seeds of Growth.”
Brother Harvey Beck from Hokes Bluff First United Methodist Church
was the keynote speaker for the event. Other program participants
were Mr. Wayne C. Rowe, Reverend Joseph Stafford Rowser, Jr., from
Pine Grove Baptist Church, Bishop Derrick Austin, pharmacy director
for Quality of Life, Apostle Maurice Wright from United Christian
Church, and Amelia Wofford, Quality of Life Planning and Development
Officer. Two musical numbers were performed by Melissa Baker, a
Quality of Life employee. Lunch was provided by Jenarda’s Catering
and Event Planning.
Quality of Life Health Services, Inc. is a non-profit health care
facility that was founded in 1977 with the belief that health care
is essential and the right of every individual. They are Northeast
and Central Alabama’s largest primary healthcare provider, serving a
twelve-county service area with 14 locations. Quality of Life
strives to efficiently provide health care, service and education
which consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of patients,
physicians, employees, and the community. Services currently offered
are adult, pediatric, and women’s health care, lab and x-ray,
