Quality of Life Health Services is please to introduce a school-based health center for Etowah County.  The center will provide primary and preventive medical, dental and mental health services, as well as health Education.  Students will be linked to other services such as complete laboratory services, x-ray and pharmacy.  Every student will be eligible for care, regardless of family income Medicaid will be accepted with no Co-pay.  Student fees will be minimal at $5.00.  The fee for a family member of a student will be $10.00.  No student will be turned away due to inability to Pay.

Hours:   Monday – Friday · 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Specific Services Available

  • Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illness

  • Treatment of minor injuries

  • Vision and hearing screenings

  • Blood pressure and blood sugar screenings

  • Dental Screening and routine dental care

  • Health education counseling

  • Nutrition education and weight management

  • Mental health services

  • Health education presentations in the classroom

  • Referral to other resources when the school-based clinic cannot treat the problem.
